For Immediate Release:
c-Systems Software First Dealership Management System To Implement Cutting Edge PSP Technology
(August, 2006) c-Systems Software, Inc., the powersports industry’s momentum-building dealership management system, is proud to be the first to implement the Motorcycle Industry Council’s PSP (Partners Standard Protocol) within its software.
What Is PSP? Who Are the PSP Players?
The Partners Standard Protocol is an industry standard established by the MIC for communications between powersports dealership DMS’ and the back-end systems of OEM and aftermarket suppliers. The beauty of the PSP standard is that with it, all communication between the dealer and the supplier is handled from within one source: the DMS. Rather than leaving the business system to transact business with suppliers through a myriad of proprietary communications programs, PSP-enabled systems like c-Systems Software allow the dealer to communicate using only one interface -- the one he’s most comfortable with -- his c-Systems DMS. In the end, simplifying dealer/supplier communications benefits the dealer by freeing up time to focus on customer sales and service. Pioneering with Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA via the MIC, c-Systems Software was the first among participating DMS’ to complete work on the order processing portion of the PSP project. American Honda Motor Corp., American Suzuki Motor Corp. Inc., Custom Chrome/Motorcycle Stuff, and Southern Motorcycle Supply are other suppliers currently recognized by the MIC as significant contributors to the PSP initiative.
